Anyone shoveling snow today? Holy Toledo just as I finished the driveway I walked back up and had to do the walk again...we built a killer snow fort, its really great packing snow today! Lots of ice under the snow too, not so fun for driving...

Here are some pictures, visual evidence that theworld is a happier and safer place because I did not go into the building trades!!
This fort stands prepared to defend Mid Michigan from all invaders, and the snowballs are packing well!!
Lucky for us the packing snow held up my very poor brick laying... On the other hand, I did learn that plastic recycling bins make great snow brick molds--
Our schools are closed today.
I tried resizing the photos in editor but something went kooky with the pixels the fort looks better than this, but not much tee hee!!

Just the opposite here in the Burgh. Both Tues & Weds were awesomely warm. It was great to get out and run around, even if I did get rained on! (Ok so that was part of the fun). It's back to cold now, and I hear there's snow on the way. I need to start a countdown for Spring... 5 months, 13 days, 11 hours...

I am heading out to finish clearing all our snow from last night - about 12 inches WOW wonder what our total accumulation has been this winter....I could not imagine how high the banks would be if we did not have the 3 warm spells and rain to keep it all managable
