............ Ooh, Sharon...your snow pictures have been beautiful, post card pretty, but this came too much! I can't imagine worrying about your Airstreams holding up under the load, but to lose your garage and have all that fall in on your workshop...wish we could wrinkle our noses and zip up there to help you haul and sort. I don't believe our virtual assistance will do much good right now. You have shown such resiliance with challenges before this, and we know you'll weather this too, but consider yourself propped up with hugs from all your campfire sisters today. Best wishes, ~G
Thanks Georgia - the virtual assistance is absolutely perfect I would not wish this cold and snow on any of you fine ladies right now - need only one suffer at a time I have big shoulders (although sore ) and tough Canadian weathered skin - We are safe - and nothing of real importance has been damaged - well accept the garage of course but it can be replaced and will be no problem.
The summer would have been a nicer time to work on this new project - and we certainly did not need this with the new waterfront build hopefully coming up in a February start time.
Peter will now have to sharpen his chain saw and done the chaps for some tree removal. Surveyor will need to get us a new garage site plan drawn up and building permites applied for. Peter enjoyed building our Sunroom Addition last year in the winter - so he is accustomed to the outdoors as well I just need to light a fire under his butt these days - still slow recovering from his set back in the summer - but this will be the PERFECT motivating factor - to build a nice warm place to work for the rest of his time......a mans dream come true workshop and RV garage all in one.....
Well how about a tin of Butter cookies to pass around - and a nice hot chocolate.

Don't forget to press the upload button and then wait a bit while it thinks you will see the file names show up - then you know they are in your post

Aria, your cookies look divine, and I have some hot water on for tea...perfect! I've been in a baking mode the past two days: peanut butter and cherry mash dippers for chocolates, jam thumbprints, viennese crescents, decorated sugar cookies, and peanut and pecan chocolates drops. I'd still may do some date roll ups, but I'm looking for a simple glaze to go on them...maybe with a honey or maple sugar base. These are all for giveaways, except the peanut chocolates that Max craves. ..oh, and a tray to pass around the fire for all of you! I'm tired and ready to close this bake shop down soon. ~G AKA Mrs. Claus

WDCU. . .MALs no longer! What's a few miles among Airstream friends?
Sheesh, Sharon, could ya slow down a bit? I'm havin' a hard time keeping up with you. I go into super slow-mo in the cold winter days, just trying to keep warm.
We got snow dumped on us too. About 2-1/2 feet from two snowstorms that passed through last week and over the weekend. Seems like we're spending all out time shoveling these days. Here's a picture out the back sliding doors.
