Paula I have never tried sculpting. Your bear looks great. Sharon what kind of bear is that? Why it's a codybear of course! I have done some ceramics though. I made a mug, and a couple of lamps for the kids' rooms.

Laura I know how frustrating that is. I have had too many hard drive failures...well even one is too many right? Plenty time for marriage kiddo, enjoy your youth and independence.

Sharon, I am up! Having the house up by summer for your parents is terrific news.

The only ceramic I ever did was in the 5th grade and I made a little toilet with a head in it with racing stripes - it was funny really - a big thing was my Dad's morning constitutional tee hee so I thought as a young kid he used to hide in there from all of us with his newspaper so I made a special ornament for the bathroom.....you know in the move I came across it and laughed my head off....brought it up for my Dad and he blushed...guess what he did - not through out!!!!!!


The little moments in life are so precious no matter how corny they may be....

Yea, This computer stoped working as far as the wireless internet, so I called, to try and get it fixed, well i was 24 days past my warrenty, so they wouldnt even talk to me, so I called the US HP number, after 2 weeks I recieved a call back, then I got a 2 year warrenty for free for my troubles, but then they said they would send me a new wireless card. Well 3 weeks later, it still didnt show up, after about 50 calls, I finally got it yesterday, and that wasnt the part that was broken, but I called back and they sent me a box to send it to HP, so 2 more weeks at least.

Isn't that always the way of warantees they are rigged to expire a month before you need them! Good negotiating on the free two year warantee. If I have any problems I am going to get you to be my agent.

Speaking of warrantees - 1 day past my warranty on this PBG4 the LCD experienced something and I ended up with a dead strip of pixels!!!! about an inch wide and the full length of the screen - I am still looking at it!! so no help from Apple either....

Ouch, thats sucks. Yea, I can be an agent, Just like our Wireless modem here at the house, I got us a new one, within 3 days for free, and it was 3 months past warrenty, Im good at getting what I want.

Good Morning All,

Oops it's actually almost 11 here..been painting the pesky bear..

Sharon, you are sooo funny!..I remember my dad always started the day in his 'castle'!!!..how fitting a gift you made for him, pity he didn't appreciate your sincere sense of humor!!!..(big smilee here)..

We had gone to the Kernville Campground for that rally the other weekend, and Steve and I went into the Bear shop..I wanted to make a couple of bears clinging to a tree..the store had one in a lamp form, but it was soo tall..so I said I'd try to do my own..i got inspired in South Dakota at the Bear Country USA in Rapid City. and loved seeing the baby bear cub nursery where there were about a dozen clinging to a tree that had to be at least 20 ft. tall..

So this idea I had, I go and google baby black bears: they all look different with different muzzles and marikings!..so I'm sitting here trying to decide which one to copy!!!..anyways, I'm painting it black..not brown, or cinammon, or gray,..

Oh that is just perfect!!! I have of course a partiality to black bears as they are our dominant species around here - actually had our first Bear encounter this summer when I left my wood shed door open where we keep our garbage can - well you can guess where all the garbage was in the morning...

Michelle - I would have followed your advice but it has now been far too many years - just ask Carol how much use my computer has - in particular my key board...
But I will not settle for no from now on in my life...and certainly not from any of the male parts out their that think we were all born stupid... (okay they are not all like that but still far too many of them are!!)
