Well, maybe I'll gather up enough courage some day to go dust off my oops I mean our wedding album..heehee..I know it's somewhere, I think up in our bedroom closet!!!..just have to go find a stepstool then dust it off a bit..I think it's still sitting next to my wedding gown in the box..hmm, don't know if I had it 'hermetically' sealed, though..sure wish I kept my white chunky heels though..of course probably wouldn't fit today anyway..I think my feet got flatter and wider as the days went buy!

Shari what a beautiful bride you made! I love your dress, so light and feminine and the flowers in your hair. Nice wedding pictures. I got a kick out of the one of the boys, that is the picture that really places the time and date. Nice looking group. Thanks for posting this is fun! What's your hubby look like now? I saw you in Salem and you haven't changed a bit.

Laura we want to see your graduation picture!

It is funny how we seem to hang onto the wedding dress - for what purpose has anyone actually used it again I had stored my dress in a green garbage bag - then we moved several times and it went into banana box for storage stacking. The hat made it into a box too - but it got lost over several moves. Then when we moved here out into the country, after several months stored in.... did I mention that we live in the country!!!!...the basement. We had just finished insulating the basement crawlspace and sealing up the holes that you know who can get in.......well we did not do a good enough job. I yanked the boxes to find my Hat had made some family of mice a fabulous frilly home!!! - outside the hat they made their bathroom - at least they had enough respect to do that

Motto - sell the dress or donate it to the local drama club - they love the costumes free!!!!

Paula Cody Bear looks very stylish in his flamingo glasses. LOL Those are cute. Yes dig out the wedding pictures. And I will play too.

We had a small wedding ceremony with just my best friend and her boyfriend up front of the church, we didn't walk down the isle but ran out the side door, in single file no less. My maid of honor wore, let's see if you can guess, a pink dress, mini skirt length as my dress was also shortened to that length and we wore those chunky heels that Paula mentioned.

We just have a few snapshots from various people, this would be the best of them, my aunt probably shot this one. Not a great scan but... ta dah... July 4th, 1970, about 5 weeks after HS graduation.

Laura those are beautiful. What a cutie you are. Nice poses too. You think you'll grow your hair long like that again? You look nice with long or short styles.

Thanks Carol, No, I dont plan on growing my hair out again anytime soon. I had to cut it because it was effecting my sleep and the weight of it was causing very intense headaches. In thoes pictures it wasnt long. I had it down to my waist when I finally cut it off, 22 inch went to Locks Of Love, and that was just to my chin as far as length when I cut it. I felt great when I cut it all off!

Laura those are neat. Such pretty sisters. I love the one with the big boots when you were a little girl! And all the different looks and styles of dress, you take a nice picture. That's quite a varied hat collection and you look nice sporting them all.

Sharon, Brad and I were going to Canada, of all places. We could have been neighbors!
