Hi Sisters!..boy the last couple of days have been ...shall I say, not fun?..how many of you have ever had a 'fix-it' ticket???..geez louise, and I'm not even through w/this fun ordeal!!! last Wednesday nite, our son got pulled over for our car's right tail light which was not working..so we got it 'fixed' after having to go back to the shop twice!!!..then the hunt for the peace officer to sign off on the ticket which has to be turned back into the court..so hubby and son went ito get the ticket signed ..well, apparently the officer who pulled over my son had not turned in his copy of the ticket to the court ..so the record of the ticket was not in the system!!!..and the court desk gal said do not send by mail the ticket back to the court ..she said there's no guarantee it'll get entered into the system even if you sent the ticket by certified mail..so she gave the signed ticket back to son and hubby, then told them to continually check back by calling this phone number to see if the copy of the ticket has been entered into the system.. and the call must be made by the deadline 4/11/08 or else we'd have to appear in court!!!..and since the car is actually registered under hubby and my name, the ticket may have to be re-issued !!!
CodyBear....having had more than my share of tickets for this and that and everything under the son I sympathize with you and ANY governmental system.....did you say the left hand knows what the right hand is up to
