Kind of a dull snowy day today....but glad you are feeling better Laura.

This little Chickadee had a great old time today.

Got in lots of seed - no fussing just flew in jump in and fly out... It is neat how they all take turns...



They are just a bit out of reach of my zoom to be really crisp....

Then rested for a bit....what is that smell????

Hopped in for a really cold bath...this water comes from our sump pump....


Ahhhh that is better - I am full, watered and smell nice and clean.....

One of my own little clever animals surprised me this past weekend. I took Anka my vasa parrot to my parents'. She was staying in her travel cage in the basement (my old bedroom) and I had gone upstairs to shower. About 5 minutes later, My dad is yelling, "BROCK! Come here! Anka is out!" So I go to find that Anka has unlocked her cage door, climbed up the basement stairs, and is patiently sitting at the top waiting for me

Sharon... way to go... I am in need of adult company... babysitting the 2 and a half year old for 9 days while Mommy and Daddy in the south. Thomas the train... think I will kill him....

Brock, I love the BIG valentine story! That is so sweet. Does your parrot talk? I must admit I don't know very much about them. When I was small there was Rajah at Marshall Fields in Chicago and I would spend a lot of time mesmerized by him. We saw some beautiful birds in a zoo in Panama City. Their colors are so brilliant.

Annie, STOP! They don't have any Airstreams in detention. Oh you meant Thomas and not the grandchild...never mind.

I happen to know that Sharon does a great Thomas the train as she played it with Sam, course he was 5 at the time...isn't nap time great Annie?

Laura feel better!! I hear ya about food posioning--not sure what you ate, but after last year, I stopped eating salads out as I kept getting sick, the doc said sanitation with the salads isn't what it should be so I just do salads at home now...

Yea, I feel a lot better, But still a little under the weather, been eatting well though, which I thought I would never want to eat again!!!!

Hi Sisters,

We went to visit our new addition: just got our first look at 6 day old baby named Logan, born 8lbs 7 oz..21 1/2" got to hold him and he fell asleep on me..still have the magic touch..well, he did get a little red in the face and squirmy at first, but that's because he had a a big humoungous burp that just had to come out...he was a happy sleeping lil' camper for the time I held him!
