Just came through there. I bet it will be a bunch of fun. Not sure we'll make it (even though we are not vintage yet--perhaps a few more years though).

After this weekends meet we will have gone for two weekends straight. But I am tempted!

Yes, even tents.

We want to promote our club to prospective airstreamers as well.

I'm a firm believer in the airstream way, but not to the point of being rude. We all started somewhere.

Airstream is as much a mindset as a machine.

Sheboygan, WI Area Vintage Rally

The Region 7 Vintage Airstream Club Rally hosted by the Wisconsin Unit of the WBCCI was a truly memorable event. The location was ideal for the purpose and the activities were perfectly balanced (IMHO). I don't know when I enjoyed having my rig in an Open House more than on Saturday. It was announced by Wisconsin Unit President, Ed Emmerick, on Saturday night that six new members had joined WBCCI during the Rally.

We were afforded an opportunity to learn about a variety of topic relating to Airstreaming and Vintage Airstreaming as well as to tour a number of the local sights.

Throughout the rally, we had a number of visitors from at least three states who were anxious to learn more about Airstreaming. The result of the mention of the Rally in a national news magazine brought a large number of people out to the rally site even though it hadn't been mentioned in the article - - nearby chambers' of commerce and police agencies directed a number of the people to our location. If what I learned from visiting with these folks is any indication, there is a true surge in interest in Airstreaming.

We couldn't agree more with Kevin - it was an outstanding rally. The Butlers in particular worked very, very hard to ensure all of us had a wonderful time, and I heard nothing but glowing reviews.

Our best indicator of the rally's success was my father, who brought his 1977 Argosy from Ohio. He and my mom attended a WBCCI regional rally with us earlier this year and were disappointed in the experience, so much so that I feared I wouldn't get them to another rally. However, Dad had such a wonderful time at the Sheboygan rally that he's looking forward to attending another vintage rally.
