Rally location suggestions in Upper Michigan

I am looking for a location on the upper Michigan Peninsula for next years (July 2017) vintage Airstream Club (VAC) national rally. The VAC rally traditionally is during the week prior to The WBCCI International rally which will be held at Escanaba. I am looking for a campground within an hour and a half of Escanaba that can hold 15-30 RV's preferably with full hookups and that has local sites of interest.

My initial investigation looks like a site North near Marquette, Munising or the Pictured Rocks National Seashore might be good locations but I am open to any suggestions in other directions as well. I will be in upper Michigan this July looking at locations and would appreciate any information I can get.

Not full hookups, but McLain SP near Houghton Hancock is nice, lighthouse, fresh fish, beautiful sunsets and active erosion. In Copper Harbor is Ft Wilkins SP, featuring a preserved, pre-Civil War fort, copper mining history, Brockway MountainDrive, and ghost towns.

You can check out my blog post from two weeks ago on the UP in Houghton. https://travelwiththeslowskys.com/20...-mi-june-2016/. stayed at the Houghton City Park RV campground, but it is hard to get a spot there - much less 20-30 or more. But this post may give you some ideas; Houghton, the area and the Keweenah Peninsula has tons of cool stuff.

Grand Marais Township Park, in Grand Marais, offers full hookups, if I recall correctly. Small town, Lake Superior setting (meaning bring coats or sweatshirts), summer vacation haven, and hosts a seaplane fly in festival.
