We plan on attending in our 1995 Airstream Land Yacht LE...taking the innaugural trip this weekend to Gulf Shores, alabama...have spent the time since we bought it outfitting for living, installing rearview camera, etc...now, its time to learn how everything works...

Great- as a member of last years Mystic 7, I can tell you that we are excited about the Rally this year. It is getting closer, and we hope to have 20+ Motorhomes, and others attend. The visual of a circle of motorhome classics and the newer models will be great to see.

We are all able to share our experience, and gain from others to make future problems and projects way easier to handle.
Last year we learned quite a bit, and had a hoot doing it.
Kids and pets are welcome as well.

If anyone else out there intends to come, or if you are on the edge...please consider it a day or two very well spent....and hopefully an annual event that will continue to build.

There's a small Forums Rally in Austin at Pedernales Falls SP on March 7th & 8th.

I don't know if there are any sites available, but you could call the TX SP reservation line to find out.

Does that mean, I have to grow old with Fred?
On a serious note, I am planning on:
1. holding riveting classes again
2. having a session on how to polish your bumbers. I need someone willing to have their bumber polished, with the understanding that
a. Only one bumber will be polished (rear or front)
b. The owner of the bumber will help with the steps
c. The clearcoat that makes them so dull will be removed permantly
d. only the facing of the bumber will be polished, not the top or sides.
e. weather permitting

You already are old!

Your task would be to watch me get old! Eventually I'll put on a bright blue jump suit and wear that around!

I know of Brett, Alan, Autoist, Peter, Cliff and myself. That's 6 of the 12 votes. Where are the other 6? Only a couple of weeks away now! Getting excited! I hope we have a better turnout than the Texas rally. No rally would be complete without Peter crawling under your rig!

All forums members are very welcome!

Also I am expecting to have a list of discussion questions regarding the new Classic Motorhome Airstream will be producing.

We can actually have some input directly to the factory in this regard, and I encourage anyone sitting on the fence to decide to come on down and be a part of this fun weekend.

Its an inexpensive learning and sharing experience. And where else can you get free advice on just about how to fix or upgrade evry part of your rig?

Yeah ---bring the kids and dogs too.

more planning

I have the following as coming:

Peter and Catstream
Cliff in Indiana
Fred (Friday afternoon)
Brett and Edie (Brett-Friday)
WB13798
Autoist
Don and June Johnson (Friday afternoon)
Alan and family (Friday night late)

If I missed you, reply here or send me a PM. I'll be off in Jellybean III for the next two days!

We need to plan the Friday pot-luck dinner and the Saturday BBQ. If everyone brings something, we can avoid a fee other than the small campgound charge. Brett is bringing the Mystic Campfire items.

Gas in Florida is pricey. There is a Wal-Mart Supercenter on hwy 29 north of I-10. That's the cheapest gas around. The exit off I-10 is 10b. The Flying-J is at exit 192 near Tallahassee. Georgia gas is much less expensive. Top it off before you leav the state.
