Hi. So if you're signed up for the MoMA rally, or are planning to attend unattached and you've heard that you can't get in because it's invitation only, don't worry -- you can still see the unveiling/opening.

Several people from Airstream and the museum will be speaking at the actual oepning of the exhibit, which is informal. After that there will be an invitation-only reception that not everyone can go to. Unfortunately, space and money would not allow for a huge formal event, so only a few people were able to receive invitations. However, at no point during the day will anyone be turned away from seeing the exhibit. Please still plan on attending!!!!!!! Your support is very much appreciated.

This installation celebrates the Museum’s recent acquisition of a 1963 Airstream Bambi Travel Trailer. With its aerodynamic body of gleaming aluminum, the Bambi is a machine for living and traveling. As a cultural icon, the Bambi evokes the freedom of the open road and the convenience and comfort of a home on wheels. As a compliment to the Bambi, the display includes a selection of travel and automobile posters from MoMA's collection.

I won't make it to NYC untill the middle or end of June. I wish we could be there for the opening. As an artist openings are an important part of what we do. Tip a glass for us and enjoy.

We finally got to check out the Bambi at MOMA over the holidays. It's a site to behold. There was the Airstream on display at MOMA amung some of the most important pieces of art from the past century.
