Seems like I plugged in "Rudolph Bennitt Lake" on my Google maps to get to the actual camping area. There is signage with arrows at almost all of the crossroads if you're looking for it. It is a gravel road most of the way in so remember your rock guards or take your time (fingers crossed for dry weather)

We use a Freightliner medium duty semi truck to pull with. Is this area hard and wide enough for our truck

I'm going to be down in the Smokys during this rally, or I would have come. I had not heard of it before. We keep our AS up by Mark Twain Lake, so it would be pretty easy to get there. Sorry to be missing it, but I'll have it in mind for next year.

Want to go. Can we crash the party at the last minute. Is that OK?

I should think so. Only time we've had issues with "mud" was the year they were in the middle of grading the gravel roads and it rained. Roads were solid but messy (that was the year I invested in the Rock Tamer mud flaps). The area by the lake is plenty solid; only thing I would consider is your turning radius for the cul de sac. Might need to set up in the wide area just before the dead end.

You betcha! The beauty of this getaway is that it's very informal. No schedules, trailer tours, etc.. Potluck on Saturday evening is the only "planned" event.

I don't remember if the street sign has the number or not, but it is the side road to the west off T hwy--there's a cemetery at the northwest corner of the intersection--Google shows it as co rd D229. The directions given in the first post were taken directly from the Rudolph Bennitt SWA brochure, so I suppose they may or may not have updated things. Google "Rudolph Bennitt State Wildlife Area, Clark Co. MO" and you'll see all the roads within the park.

I think we may try to make it this year. Our trailer has a big water leak so I am trying to decide if our 345 will make the trip. I think it will as long as no rain but will have to wait until the date is upon us to know for sure.

Mid-Missouri Fall Boondock 2017
I was Google Earthing and saw Road D229 on the map. There is a church on the southwest corner, Fairview. Thanks!

You bet. I've started coming into T Hwy from B Hwy from the north. May be longer depending on which way you're coming in, but B Hwy is much nicer to travel than F Hwy to the south--especially pulling a trailer.
