Labor Day impromptu Penn Wood camping

Come meet some New Englanders! Contrary to what the press says, we New Englanders are a warm, friendly group of people who just enjoy "camping"!

We are hooking up [no pun intended] with other Airstreamers from the Pennsylvania/Ohio area and will meet at Penn Wood to camp over the Labor Day weekend. Everyone is welcome (as long as you own an Airstream, that is, because Penn Wood is an Airstream-only campground).

For more information about Penn Wood, check-out their website: http://www.pennwood.org

Dang, my wife has to work this weekend. I may try and sneak out there anyway. I may come out for one night. It's about 2 hours from me. Just called them on the phone, and they said they have plenty of sites. They are planning a big breakfast for Monday morning.

Sure wish I could make it but unfortunately it's a bit too far for me. I did spend a night at Penn Wood on my way to the international rally this summer. What a beautiful place!!

I also learned there is a Pennsylvania Unit rally being held at Penn Wood over Labor Day w/e. I called the campground also, and was told to "come on down!"

The wife got Sunday and Monday off, if we can find someone to stay at the house to feed the horses, we may be joining you folks.

You know my WBCCI number, right? Be sure to look us up! I will be the one with the huge smile because I now have an 18-gallon black tank! I now no longer need to dash to the public toilets in my pj's in the middle of the night!

No, I don't know your WBCCI # Yukionna. Mine is on the rear of the coach only. (1350) Pulled by an Indigo Blue GMC 3500. If we show up we will have two little white dogs, Jack Russell terriers. I still have to talk the wife into this, she likes to stay within an hour of home Would probably show up Sat nite, or Sunday morning. We live just outside of Cleveland, so it is only a 2 hour drive.
