76 Trombones!

Some info on the Pageant. There are field band and jazz band competitions starting Thursday night and Friday nights.

Sherburne Pageant of Bands
Seventy-six trombones is only a pittance compared to the massive Sherburne Pageant of Bands which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 1999. Held the first weekend in June in Sherburne, this spectacular event features high school bands from throughout Central New York competing in parade and field events. It's a show of sight and sound not to be forgotten.

Bring it.

Right now, no fears as there will be electric for ya! If the numbers get many, then we will work out something for you. Running a small Honda should not be a problem.

Two brand new 6V Lifeline Concorde 220 amp Batteries arrived today. The beds are back in, the furnace is back in, the bathroom plumbing has been redesigned and is within an hour of being online. The new All-in-One Stainless Steel 100,000 btu propane / charcoal grill, smoker, turkey fryer has arrived and been tested. Sounds like a jet taking off on full open. We are ready to camp. Just need to tap the line of credit for fuel.....

Link to Parade Web site

Here is a link to the Pageant Web site.

http://www.secsd.org/se_site/communi...ant/index.html

It has some pictures from the last few years. I've got room for 3 Airstreams in the Parade...so, if you want to Volunteer to get one in, that would be Great. I have ours, and Shacksman's trailer in right now. So, let me know.

Thanks,

Rob

18 so far!

I have 18 signed up so far. I'd really like to get all that are planning attending by today, so that I can contact my local Fire Department (they are doing the BBQ Chicken for Saturday night) and I need a good representative number of people that will be attending. So, shoot me an email is you are looking at coming to the Rally at robandzoe@adelphia.net. If you haven't been to a rally before, this is the perfect size - not too small - not too big (yet)! SYATR - See ya at the Rally!
