Had this crazy idea. A Flash Rally, kind of like a Flash mob.
According to "Wikipedia", a Flash mob is "A
flash mob (or
flashmob)
[1] is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and seemingly pointless act for a brief time, before quickly dispersing. They are often used for the purposes of entertainment, satire or artistic expression
[2][3][4] and are organized via
telecommunications,
social media, or
viral emails.

I have found that spur of the moment trips have been some of our best.
For this reason I propose we start a Flash Rally page. If you are headed out to a spot and feel like inviting other like minded folks to join you if they are able. Nothing to organized. just a shout out to any who are thinking about getting out and might like some company.
So, I will start by saying we are packed up and headed to Cherry Lake, CA. today and will be there through the week end. Cherry Lake Campground is still closed. We will be booney camping below Cherry Lake Dam, it is national forest and FREE. No water, electric, or dump sta. Bring fishing poles, bikes, canoes, kayaks, kids, dogs, etc. It is primitive, no cell service, so be prepared.
What do you think about the idea, Flash Rally? Maybe we will see you there.
