Dump station follies

Looks like the Sewer Solution only comes with a 3" connection. I take it that someone sells a 3" to 4" adapter so I can use a SS on my black tank?

Where would I get one?

Does that mean that the A/S outlets are 4"? On all models?

My drains are 4", my sewer solution fits it.
When I drain at a dump station, I do not use the sewer solution. I do not think that it is a good idea to use it exclusively.
My black tank needs a " speedy evacuation" to become clean. The sewer solution does not allow this. Residue remains after dumping with the sewer solution system. I like the sewer solution while camping, but if i have to dump at a dump station, I always use the trusty old dump hose.

Interesting product.

Ours doesn't have a grey water but the plan is to add one. To furth complicate issues our balck water is above the floor. Our gray water will be below so I either have to keep the drains seperate before the slinky or I have to work something else out.

What if a one way valve was placed in the gray water drain to the shower? Surely somebody has to make one that is passive. I wouldn't see a need for one on the sinks because they are well above the black water tank.

Our 71 has an added on grey tank. A large diameter pipe comes from the black tank dump valve ( above floor) and terminates in a regular 4" bajonet style dump port. Just near this it is joined by a 2" or 1 3/4 pipen and a small diameter dump valve. Now, the small dump valve should be closed when the black tank dumps, or the contents will go into the grey tank.
Sinks and the shower have a trap, so a one way valve is not needed, onless you hopelessly overfill the grey tank and go up a steep hill.....

My Scamp 5th-wheel had separate drains for the black water and the gray water. The black water drain was in front of the single axle and the gray water drain was just behind the axle. By positioning carefully, I could reach both without moving the trailer.

I never felt that the separate drains were any problem. I would dump the black tank first, then move the hose to the gray outlet. This layout served me well for years. If I were to add a gray tank to an existing trailer, I would certainly consider separate outlets.
