That's awesome! Can't refuse 20%off!
Root beer + BBQ =
I've noticed several threads about Bluegrass music, sure would be nice to incorporate something in our rally. Any thoughts?

I guess I should post our sites. We have reserved 175. There are still several sites left for those that may be considering this rally.

Great! Glad you guys are going to make it this year. Last year was fun but we almost needed an anchor to keep from floating away! We'll say an extra prayer for good weather.

Hey All,
I am in process of moving, I got the Airstream moved last week, My old place got blasted with hail damage, Many broke windshields and dents, roof to the house is trashed and siding damaged, thank goodness I got the Airstream moved !!!!! it would have got trashed.
I hope everyone else survived it !!

Bad storms and a lot of damage in different places. Glad to hear you and the Airstream are ok. Let me know if you need help moving. I've got a dually and access to a 16' box trailer.

Thanks for the reminder, it is time to start thinking about a schedule of activities. We typically have our potluck Saturday night and probably should continue at this same time. We also want to keep in mind that Keeneland will be open and some visitors may want to spend much of Saturday at the races. If anyone has suggestions or ideas, please chime in. We'll have to have a movie or two for the kids.

Kids activity: - Kite flying. It could be windy in April and there are large fields surrounding the campground.
Adults: - teach somebody how to pack a trailer wheel bearing - I know real exciting huh.....

Good ideas! How about a buffing session? Bring your polishers and we can use my camper to practice . My dad taught me to pack the bearing using a ziplock sandwich bag. Works perfectly and no mess on your hands!

I was just in Murfreesboro, TN to attend "The International Road to the Horse" Colt Starting event and learned that next year 2013 it will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park. I'm really excited to get down to the Horse Park this year and check it out. The Australian team won the Road to the Horse this year and it was a really interesting process to watch wild horses get four hours of training by some of the best "horse whisperers" in the world so that they are "broke" to saddle and can run an obstacle course. Up here in Michigan it hit 80 degrees this past weekend where it normally is 45 to maybe 60. Love it. I had some trim come off of my trailer and got some adhesive and glued it back on. I was surprised because it is an '08 that was sold in '09 and sat until '10 when I purchased it used. It probably only has 5,000 miles on it tops. It's a ramblin' kind of Monday for me and I'm headed to the Lewiston, MI area to boondock in a state forest on a lake. Should be beautiful. See y'all in KY.

Scott,
It works perfectly and the best part is, you don't get grease all over your hands. I would not recommend reusing the bag for lunch .
Mellen,
The horse park is absolutely stunning and is home to some of the most majestic horses you will ever see. Plan to spend the better part of a day at the park. Don't forget Keeneland, the Bourbon Trail, Shakervillage at Pleasant Hill and historic Georgetown. Lots to do in a short weekend!
