Columbia County Fairgrounds, Chatham, NY (SE of Albany, NY)
2/20/06 -- SEVEN units signed up! 53 to go! Please watch this 1st post for major changes or additions to this rally...
FORUMS+ Rally! Plus any and all from the WBCCI and the VAC. Any and all from the VAL and Hunter's list. Am I leaving anyone out? Let me know... No rules -- just right!
The largest Pan-Celtic event in New York State is going on just southeast of Albany and 15 miles from the Massachusetts border. The event is all day Saturday. You're welcome to arrive anytime Friday or Saturday and leave anytime Saturday or Sunday.
I've obtained permission to group up to 60 units for dry camping on the county fairgrounds near the main entrance at NO CHARGE. We will have access to the fairgrounds bathroom facilities and access to water, but no hook-ups.
The only requirement is that you purchase tickets to the Celebration of Celts. The website is still being updated for 2006, but you can take a peek at:
www.CelebrationOfCelts.com/home.html
DO NOT BUY TICKETS YET! We'll be buying them bulk. I'll just need a head count by April 1st and then we'll purchase tickets. I'm still working it, but right now the
group rate is $8 per person, children under 6 are free.

If you must have hook-ups there are sites on the other side of the fairgrounds available at $25/night. I’m being told that it’s not much of a walk from there to where we’ll be gathering.
