Arts & Crafts

Calling all you talented artists, artisans and just down right crafty people:
If you have pottery, paintings, photography, jewelry, specialty foods - you get the idea - that you sell, this year we'll have an Arts & Crafts Fair during the Saturday Open House Extravaganza You'll need to provide your own tables and set ups and display at your campsites. Please Private Message me your campsite number, your name and what you'll be displaying. I'll create a list that will be put into everyone's welcome bags. I know we already have 2 fabulous people that will be selling their fabulous wares

I hope everyone will have fun with this
Thanks and see you in 15 days (or less)
Annette

Annette,
Do the artisans have to be selling their wares or can some just display their talents without selling?

Breakfast with the Ranger- Sign up

Every year the "Friends of Topsail", a group of volenteers who help out at the park, sponsor a Breakfast with the Ranger which is really popular with our group of Canopeneans. In the past, we had to limit attendance to around 80 of us. This year the park is offering us 2 seatings of 54. The first starts at 8:45 and the second starts at 9:30 Saturday morning before the hike. Not only can more of us get a great Pancake breakfast, but the lines and seating will be a lot better.
This is a great way to meet new folks and hear a little more about the park from the ranger. The breakfast is free but donations are gladly accepted.

Please Chose your preference add your number and copy and paste.

Canopener 2018

WHAT Already Really
Nooooo, not really...........but it's never too early to plan, especially if you've ever dreamed of, fantasized about or just plain wanted to facilitate the Canopener! 2018 will be your opportunity.

This rally is special in so many ways, and what makes it this way is that it all comes together because of a total TEAM EFFORT So don't worry, because the facilitator won't do this alone. In fact, there is a host of fabulous folks who coordinate many of the activities and events at the Canopener, and as you'll find out, there are Canopenians who also come up with new ideas for new events and ways to make events even better - how awesome is that And did I mention there's also a host of previous Canopener Hosts to get advice from

So if you're interested or if you have questions, please contact me, Joe, Russ, Tom, Chuck, Jose, Vicki and Tom, Howie, Greg, Pat, Judy (see, I told you it was a total team) or the many others that make Canopener happen. We'll all be there in 13 days - or less - and counting
Annette...........and Team Canopener
