We are planning to come by on Saturday afternoon to say hello to everyone. No camping for us yet, the AS is still under various stages of destruction/construction. Hope we will be underway by spring!

Wow, venison chili and kimchi on the same day. Sounds like deer camp to me.

We're new to Airstream, and looking forward to the rally this weekend -- in our 16' 2011 Bambi. We're driving in from Van Wert, OH (3 1/2 hours) and won't get there for the Pot Luck -- but we should be there in plenty of time for DESSERT! For those thinking of winterizing. MENARDS has RV antifreeze for $1.29 a gallon,the sale ends Sunday, I got some already. Hope you all have fun. We would love to come but its just too cool.

How do we present the chili at the contest? In a crockpot or a metal pot? and how much to bring for judging?

Last year we took our kettle and all down to the nature center and set it up on a platter and sprinkled crackers all around the kettle. The year before we did the crockpot entry and took the whole thing down there. You are allowed to take crackers, bread or whatever to add to your entry. The judges have their own spoons and bowls...which are provided to everyone. If it goes like last year....there will be lots of people sampling after the judging and there won't be much left to take home.

Home from one of My favorite trips of the year. Fall weather was really with us , it was a gorgeous weekend. Good chili , Good friends old and new.Hope to see everyone return next year and some more new attendees.Truck is parked in the barn , trailer is winterized. Don't know what the first rally next year will be but the Chili cook off will probably end the 2012 season.

Despite a bit of rain and a few soggy spots it was a great weekend. Thanks to everyone for participating in the raffle, pumpkin carving contest, costume contest, decorating contest, the chilli cook off, and of course for assisting once again for an outstanding potluck! I hope everyone marks it on their calendars for next year! We LOVE celebrating our anniversary with everyone doing what we love best! See you all down the road and looking forward to hosting this again next year bigger and better!

Thanks, Loren and Mike, for hosting a great rally! We had a great time despite the raindrops. Great campfires and potlucks and trailer crawl.
Fun to meet new friends and get together with some that are already silver "family".
Looks like we have some great chili chefs in the Airstream crowd. Congratulations to Terry for earning a second place in the crockpot category. and also to Larry for the third place in Dutch Oven chili category. It was fun tasting all of the types of chili even if the judging took FOREVER!
We are already looking forward to next year's rally!

Brian and I got home safely - we had so much fun! Thank you to everyone for welcoming us in and treating us like family....A thousand thank-you's for helping us through our 'problems with the trailer' and for helping us winterize....

Can't wait to join you all again!
