One more time....
Food for thought...
THURSDAY NIGHT .......we have 300 premo hot dogs. We will also have the buns, condiments, and chips. If you would like to bring something to share please feel free to do so.
FRIDAY MORNING.....we will furnish a continental breakfast of coffee and fresh baked doughnuts. Sleep in if you like.
FRIDAY NIGHT....our famous possum bog. A meal in itself but we will never turn down anything else you would like to share.
SATURDAY MORNING....is ALL POTLUCK breakfast. An Alumalina tradition and a feast. Please bring a generous portion of your favorite breakfast dish to share. We will have the coffee.
SATURDAY NIGHT....is the famous Alumalina fish fry.. Professionally prepared grade A white fish fillets, shrimp, devil crab, french fries and hush puppies. PLEASE NOTE...this meal is a highlight of the rally, and it takes a while to serve 400+ people. WE WILL NOT RUN OUT OF FISH... so sit back, enjoy a cocktail or 2, or 3, and enjoy the time with friends, it will be worth the wait.
If you would like to share a desert by all means do so.
SUNDAY MORNING....more doughnuts and coffee.

Raied all morning moved out mid afternoon. Sky cleared up. About 50 this am.
Wet feet for those who hit the puddles. A few low sites had some standing water. A gentle description at best.
The gentle stream behind the shelter became a heavy flow coming out of the hills.
Clear and cool nights ahead.
Come on over.

Unfortunate news
With deep regret, it appears I will not be able to attend this year. My TV, a 2008 Dodge/Cummins (only 135,000 miles) developed a whining noise, diagnosed as a failing front pinion gear bearing. Inspection showed a lot of metallic material in the oil and the ring and pinion appear perfect suggesting the source of the metal flakes is the noisy bearing. This requires very specialized repair to replace the bearing and properly set up the ring and pinion gears, thus, unless this can be repaired later today or early tomorrow, i will not be able to tow up to Alumalina.
Hopefully, if I have an Atlas by next year, I can show up then, but we will have to wait and see. I wish all a very happy rally, wish I were there.

That stinks. Sorry that we won’t get to see you. Will the Wedgewood fit in the Atlas? [emoji6]

The campground cost is $25/night. They take cash, checks and credit cards, but be aware that there is a 3% fee on credit cards. John normally asks for donations to offset the other expenses.

Thanks everyone....
.....for keeping the fires burning 'till we can get there Wednesday, hopefully before noon.
Gonna miss all that can't make it this year but there is always next year.
We are asking for a rally fee of $20 for single, $40 for 2 or more. A bargain.
The great time will be priceless.
Latest count shows 206.
