Created a Facebook page for Alumalina pictures and posting

Ok, I created a Facebook page for posting all of the picture from the Alumalina events now and in the future if event participants so choose. If for some reason I have step into something I shouldn't have please forgive me and I will shut it down. Just wanted an avenue to post pictures and for others to post as well. We had a great time and again. Here is the link and feel free to post your pictures.

John you and the team never cease to amaze me. Another unbelievable Alumalina! I just want to point out to those who may not have noticed, but John and Terry chose to boondock when there were several full hook ups available. These guys and gals are nothing but class! Thanks for all you do for the cause!!

Great pics, made me smile seeing the old familiar faces. Wish we could have been there but we don't get out much anymore. G

Alumalina Lives on for another year.

John,Susan,Terry and Annie,

What a great weekend with you guys put together at the Cove. The fellowship and fun where great as expected. We met and talked with many Streamers from all over our great country. It was fun to listen to friends who just returned from the SW Caravan and all of the adventures they experience. Wally would be proud of the 2017 WBCCI and all of the activities (rallies) going on around the country.

Please say thanks to go to Ronnie and the cook team for the super Possum Bog on Friday night. I am not sure how they stretched the supply of Possums I had sent to the cove for the bog but it all disappeared by the end of the evening. We had a clean pot club.

I have already started planning for the next Alumalina, 2018.

My Blue Ridge Mountain possum suppliers are adding capacity to meet the Rally's needs for 2018 rally. I am still talking with some people( trappers) I met in Minnesota about bring in new stock to expanding the possum gene pool in NC mountains. The possums I saw in Minnesota were about ten percent larger that the local (NC) stock. Enough about food and supplies.

Anne and I wanted to thank you all for a great October rally weekend.

We will see you down the road.

Remember we give a HOOT.

"Nothing Could Be Finer Than To Be In Carolina (Alumalina) In The Morning"

2017 Fall Alumalina Rally. I spoke with Zane Nelson Palmetto Cove RV Park President. There were 178 rigs on site late Saturday evening. There was 6 "Host couples" , one of which was an Airstream couple. Folks we had 173 Airstream rigs in a park with "148" brochure advertised site's. ". "WOW". 🙋🙋🙋. John/Susan & Terry/Annie thanks for all you guys do for the "Silver Bullet Society" be it WBCCI, Region 3, Palmetto State Unit 22 and now Internationally attended "ALUMALINA". Sign us up for 2018 Alumalina, note to Big Hooter I've got some "fat back" to bait my critter friendly possum traps. Maybe can raise and fatten them up for 2018 Fall Alumalina. Question, have you ever eaten fried possum tails for breakfast. Yummy. "See y'all down the road". Ken & Barbara. WBCCI ---11944

Best seat in the house!

John & Susan and Terry & Annie,

You have once again set the bar for how to throw a party for three or four hundred of your best Airstream friends. We had an even better time this year than last, and I wouldn't have thought that was possible. You are to be lauded for setting the example by dry camping, and we loved being in Terry and Annie's usual spot in C31. Too bad the open house got washed out. I always enjoy seeing what others have done to their trailers and like showing mine off as well. The weather also put a damper on the trick or treating but we had one - just one - determined kid who made her rounds anyway. Looking forward to next year. I wonder if we will break 300 for registration?

Wonderful time!! First large Airstream event. I think this one set the bar. I appreciate John and all who worked so hard for us to have a good time. So many great people. 23 states. Amazing.

John, Susan, Terry, Annie, and all the others who made this rally special:
THANKS for a great time! Even two hurricane-like rains couldn't dampen the enthusiasm! We attended our first Alumalina in 2014 at Lake Watereee. We hadn't been able to get back until this one due to other committments but hopefully will be able to make the next one!

Call it an Alumalina-palusa!

We had one great time! Sure glad we made the 1300 mile trek to meet all you nice folks from the South! (and East, and Central, and Northeast, and West, and Canada) John did an excellent job setting this up and the camaraderie of the AS folks helped us feel right at home in our first Alumalina event! Looking forward to Florida in January!

Thanks so much to John & Terry for organizing such a fun event. This was our first time attending with our trailer and we are so glad we made it! Looking forward to seeing everyone's photos. To whomever had the drone, please let me know when you post those pics/video.
