DougEW....Doug, you and Joanne are now anointed the Great Pumpkin and Pumpkinette. Set the bar, raise it high, get everyone ready for the Pumpkineers.
Well ok then I'll get carving on the new awning, I have some fresh wood from the hurricane .

Lonewolf 1977....Denise, it will be very good to have you and Marcus back with us again after such a long absence. As you can probably tell, we have all gone down hill....fast. PS: don't forget the KK's.

McCrostie....Brother Dave, did they ever find that group you took hiking to those same waterfalls a couple of years back? Leave some bread crumbs this time.

Moparjohn...Hey there John, with enough of your home brews, we can fix anything. We will either cure it or kill it.

GC....You crack me up. Now the cat is out of the sack, my cover is blown, and everyone knows I am really Elvis, hiding out as Sandpaper. Thankya...thankya very much.

gypsydad...If this conversation has not scared you off, then consider yourself registered. Join the madness. Like your idea of the beer swap, we did it once before and was a bit hit. "Bring a Beer, Get a Beer''. You and Mopar set the time and place.

Spartan55....you have spoiled us with your fantastic Spartan. Hope your repairs go well and we see you next year.

EVERYONE....get ready, the time is nearly here......
Will do...Hi Sign starts canning next week and said they would give me (dad) few cases for folks to try in SC...

Boondocking 101

We have a boondocking seminar planned for Friday, hosted by a pair of veteran boondockers. Boondocking adds a whole new dimension to traveling and camping. Whether over nighting in a Cracker Barrel parking lot or enjoying a long weekend beside a pristine lake, you will still have all the comforts you have become accustomed to with hook ups. Here are some samplings of the things they will cover.

1. Travel with your fresh water holding tank full. Arrive at the rally with it full or fill it before parking.

2. Arrive with your grey and black tanks empty, or dump before you park. Figure 3-5 days holding capacity for grey water, 5-10 days for black.

3. Your 12v batteries will run everything in the rig except the 120v wall outlets....AC, microwave, TV. Lights, fans, water pump, furnace blower, refrigerator (on propane) all run from 12v. With some conservation, plan 2-5 days. We have means to recharge your batteries.

4. We will ''daisy chain'' water to each rig. Please bring two 25' white hoses and a ''Y''. These should be standard supplies in your rig already.

5. Our over flow area is very nice. We will all have room to open up awnings, set up a nice camp, all on beautiful, thick, mowed, carpet-like grass. No mud, rocks, or ruts.

6. We will also have a very nice dump station set up.

Boondocking does not mean doing with out, so have no fear if this is a new concept for you. We have a great location and plenty of help to get you going.

seminars for Alumalina

John

I hope you are going to teach the sewer care and hook up class again. As you can see it is clear that there are lots of people out there who have taken your class. How would anyone ever know that this is the right way to connect your sewer. You are such a good teacher.
Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks.

A star pupil

Hey, Jon, great photo of one of my star pupils.

Sure glad they were paying attention and obviously took careful notes....

See you soon at the Cove.

Alumalina Fall 2017

Sometimes it is nice to boondock with a little AC power. We have a small power source.
