Gary, would you re-post on this thread the two DO pdf's I sent you last winter?
For any who want to bake bread together, this Artisan dough has to be started the day before.
We'll have to have at least a loose plan.

Folks,
This is Maggie's bread reciepe. If you have a Dutch Oven and want to try it out, bring it along, pretty sure you'll make it a regular part of your gear if its been doing garage duty lately.
I'll have some SC oak firewood. No Brad, not a joke the tree was grown in SC.
Gary

I'll have some good SC firewood also, and a push up tent.
Still undecided whether or not to bring the big blue monster. I'm with you Kathy, maybe I bring it so we won't need it.

John,
Your job is to take the wood and make furniture not firewood. My job has been to take a piece of firewood and make furniture.

Sadly, we are going to have to bow out. This leaves site 70 open. Would love to offer it to someone waiting for a spot. Please let me know asap. My sweet airstream is not going to be ready by the end of Sept. We are currently installing the new axle & coupler....those are kinda necessary for road travel! Hope to see everyone in the spring.

Denise, you have now used up all your alloted ''why we can't come'' chips.
You have app 6 months till next March.
We want to see the fruits of your labor.
If you can, please hold on to your site, someone in the group will hopefully speak up. I think the waiting list at this point is all fixed. When someone does come along, just exchange the $$$ amongst yourselves.
We will miss you guys.
John

Hey Gary, darn nice work. Does this mean I now must start building clutches, too??
I think I have already burned up enough camp furniture to buy a new Airstream..... or at least buy 16'' rims, Michelin tires, tire monitors, solar panels, gel bats, 2 ginnys, a brewery, and a distillery. And someone to keep it all up for me, and keep my glass filled.

Uh Sandpaper,
Actually cork nuggets were inserted into clutch disc drive plates many many decades ago as friction material and lubricated with oil, known as a wet clutch. Many years ago, you know when Brad was in High School.
So, I guess technically wood products have already been used in automotive clutches. Hold off on filing that patent.

So, Maggie -- we used our new blue dishwashing cloths on our recent 3 1/2 week trip out west. 8,200 miles! Did Yellowstone, Tetons, Portland (OR), Sequoia, and Sedona. Just an amazing good time. Glenn and I (and the Basset Girls -- Nola and Rhoda) are excited about the upcoming Alumalina and seeing everyone...especially YOU! Travel safe, and I know Wateree will be lots of good food and folks! Barry

Hi Barry!
Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. We have been to all those places, what's not to love.
Looking forward to seeing you and yours, as well as everyone else.
It will be a good time.

Sadly, John, we are opting out for this session of Alumalina. This is our only chance to go see our son this season, and while we will miss all our buds, our son trumps. So instead of heading south from New England, we are headed west to the Michigan UP. Our site has already been arranged. See you all next time for sure! And John, thanks for all you do!
