One of the great benefits of Airstream ownership (IMHO) is the opportunity to belong to one of the oldest (if not the oldest) single-marque travel clubs - - the Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI). One of my first projects after acquiring my '64 Airstream Overlander International in 1995 was to join the WBCCI. It was a step that I have never regretted as in the intervening years, I have participated in a number of local, regional, and international rallys as well as a number of caravans. There is at least one local unit of the WBCCI in each state - - the activities at the unit level vary considerably from one unit to the next, so if the first unit you try doesn't appeal then there are others (there is no rule that requires you to belong to any local unit as there is "Member at Large", and/or you can choose to belong to a unit in another state - - I live in Illinois but belong to the Wisconsin Unit). You can learn more about the WBCCI at their
website.
Good luck with your maident voyage in your coach!
Kevin
