Weather forecast is looking fabulous for next weekend and the week beyond - highs of 83 and lows of 54. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Cindy and I crewed each day, and had a wonderful time! Hang out at the pre-dawn pilot's briefing at the control tower - although there are commercial crews, many of them are mom and pop operations who depend on volunteers to launch and recover the balloons.

Thank you to Region 11 and Four Corners a Unit for once again hosting a marvelous Balloon Fiesta Rally. We ran into old friends and met fellow Airstreamers from across the country. And the accommodations, of course, can't be beat.

Once again we had a GREAT time at the balloon fiesta. This was our second year and plan to be there again for 2016. Hope everyone enjoys the trailer cookies. Will be looking for pictures.

That's so true, Atomic, Though we helped check-in and park the Region 11 Balloon Fiesta Rally, We saw more Airstreams than ever before in the standard RV parking south of Alameda. My wife and I were just discussing at dinner what a major event this has become in our lives each year to watch all the Airstreams come rolling in. It has come to mark the end of summer as profoundly as any solstice.

We would have had a great time had we come alone. But we didn't. We came to a rally on which a lot of people put in a lot of hours and I thought to thank them. No more, no less.

We had a great time as well, despite not parking with the other Airstreams. we managed to get over there twice and met lots of great folks. Need to add some features to my FC so we can dry camp next year :-)

What an incredible time we all had - the feedback we receive each year is what keeps us going - a truly wonderful time is had by all. We are already working on next years event - our 10th year ! We plan to make it extra special !
