How do I find out where she put me? I registered and called her at first notice. I want to be near the food...and drink.

Just a bunch of ASS's, and a couple of SOB's, all hanging out together. What could be more fun?

Acronyms explained (for the uninitiated...)
SOB = Some Other Brand
ASS = AirStream Snobs

Skye is revising her food prep items daily. So they will just have to be surprises.

I am taking off Friday so we can get on the road earlier in the day. That means I officially have 16 more work days till full Re-Retirement....
At which point, Skye and I will be on the road a LOT more...

Look out, Texas, here we come!

Trailer is packed and hooked up to the truck. We hope to be on the road within the hour.
Please, please tell me that the weather is above freezing down there.

Not only above freezing, but T-shirt weather.

Getting back to the food....

I'll bring some kinda cake Friday night and olive chicken pasta salad on Saturday night. We're coming in Thursday and hope we see some bluebonnets along the way. Washed trailer this morning to get all the red dust off her, and to hopefully increase our chances for rain today and tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing friends & our 1st trip out since Blanco!

Can't believe what I've read about Chuck & Skye selling their airstream! But I still like them anyway.

Joy

More activities

Just got a call from Mr. Whitworth, the Wimberley trade days are this Saturday also. 300+ vendors!! Haven't been in few years, but lots of fun looking at lots of stuff!!

Also, when Bruce and I dropped off the trailer Sunday, a notice was posted in the office that the chili cookoff people were looking for judges for the Saturday cookoff. The schedule of activities is also posted.

We'll talk with Sean about a trip to his shop for those of you who have not seen the miracles that he and Rondi work on the trailers.

Till then.

Good News and Bad News

Which do you want to hear first? The bad news?
OK.
Bad News - We are cancelling our reservations and will not make the trip. This makes me very sad. Especially since I had blinged my new box trailer out just to try and compete a tiny bit with the sea of beautiful aluminum I know will be there. But mainly because I was soooo looking forward to seeing so many of you again. And meeting new friends. But alas, Skye cannot come so it would be me all by my lonesome. Long trip for me with 2 dogs, dragging this grey beast...Not sure I want to be on the road that long, with no backup just yet...

Good News - Our daughter just delivered a baby yesterday. Grandkid #13 for us. The baby was not due for another month, but decided to pull an April Fools joke on us all. So, the trip Skye had already scheduled for the end of the month, just moved forward a bunch. She will fly out to Florida on Thursday (day after tomorrow) to help out for a couple of weeks. And to hug the baby, a lot.

Dang it, but we will see you down the road sooner or later I am sure!!

Congratulations on the new grand baby!! We will miss seeing you!

I had everyone going stand outside their trailers clapping as you walked to the rally room as a reminder of your brain cramp.

Now then, I have to ask the question----Do your kids understand about birth control??

My Goodness!! That is enough grandchildren for 5 families.

We will miss seeing you!!

Chuck 'n Skye - Large congratulations are in order!!!! I have a nice bottle of Veuve Clicquot Brut thats been chilling in my fridge for a year now, just waiting for a worthy celebration. We can do it straight up or mix in some orange juice. As she has all the good taste, how we enjoy it is Skye's call. Look forward to seeing ya'll soon as family joys calm down a bit.
