Corporate meetings . . . . . sure.

8 guys, 2 newbies & 6 old timers.
2 guys attending lectures,
2 guys playing golf, and
4 guys playing poker in Bruce's room,
and all of them telling Bruce where to find
vintage Airstreams "back in the woods".

Oh what stories he comes back from these "corporate meetings" with.

As long as he gets rewards nights for those stays for those vacations far away where we can't drag our a/s, hey, what the heck. Saves on my grocery bill.

I'm sorry but I have to cancel. I have notified Carol at the park. My daughter, a teacher, has decided to visit us from N.C. We don't get to see her that often. Maybe I'll be able to make it another time. It is sure sounding like good time.

As new airstream owners out of Austin we are looking forward to attending our first rally. BUT, we have two young children in tow. Do other families attend? Is the RV campground even kid friendly (we generally camp in state parks)? If this isnt the right group for us, where else might we look? Please help a newbie with some honest advice! Thanks, guys.

Kids are always welcome we all strive to have good fun and many do bring younger one's give's some of us old farts a chance to spoil them , well the park is a older park set in town unfortunately the park does not have activity area for younger children due to the age of the park and being a overnight stop for most, there are some winter TX campers there and one couple has their their grand kids and great grand kids with them most every weekend they seem to have fun, Also the area is full of things to take the kids to several parks in the area, the state park of LBJ is not a campground but a history center with a historic 1800 working farm and petting farm, the safari zoo is a 3 mile trip up the road, and Blanco park 8 miles away, area is full of fun , Many of the attendees in this rally have empty nest some have teenagers not to sure who is bringing kids though and you will find with this group there is a wide range of age Bruce and Rose are the greatest we co hosted last year with them at this event so happy they are doing this this year and every rally Rondi and I have Bruce and Rose are with us and help us make it a fun time you will enjoy I am sure we will welcome you with open arms Sean & Rondi

By all means, join us and bring the kids. While most of the people that have signed up so far for the rally do not have children(all grown) we DO encourage children. They are the future airstreamers and you can also build memories as a family.

Hope to see you there!!!

OK, folks. We are a little over a month away from the Spring Rally. Time to start thinkin' about the groceries you want to bring. In the coming days I will start a food list of what we know so far. Please feel free to add in your favorite dish to bring for the potluck.

Back soon with more details..........

So I hope it is OK that we have reserved a spot to join your rally. We are new Airstreamers and look forward to meeting others who share our excitement.
