I do not mean to change the subject but I am tired of hunting for a thread on how to clean the stainless segments. Any advice would be appreciated. Waxing does not seem to help. Polishing?

rod,

WD40 with a micofiber cloth works well for us....I do the high panels also before a long trip, the bug's come off a bit easier.

Stainless steel cleaner in the appliance/home section of any Wally World or HD or whatever. The same stuff you use for SS appliances. If there is some really nasty road "stuff" on them, I'll use Brakekleen first, then the SS cleaner. Wax doesn't work....gets stuck in the brushed finish and is very hard to get off.

I am waiting to see how you mounted your segment protectors. Thanks.
