Segment protector

Hi all , I am contemplating fabricating a pair of segment protectors for my '76 AS . If anyone has any or can take any , close up pictures of their factory protectors . I'm looking particularly for how and where they attach , and how much they cover. Thanks

Cool Gota an ARK?

We're high...but the ground water has its way of finding you~
Not to labor the point but..I'm water finis this year...lol
A word of caution if I may use this thread to put this out..
Just this last Mon., I had to call in the septic man to pump out my tank..
The point here to make is:
He pumped out over 400 gallons beyond the tank's capacity~!!
The ground water level was that high~
Folks, be sure you watch your tank these next few days..
Another note:
Talked with an old friend of mine who lives in Bedford that same morning and, his septic tank had already backflowed into his home's basement..the best I could do, was to give him the number of the company who did ours. BTW, my son and I offered to come over and help but..He had it under control.
Still..let me know if you think you might want to come for the measurements and, look see on just how they're mounted.
ciao

Ticki,

I have a 1976 Ambassador and I want to fabricate a set of stainless protectors. Any advice or photos? Were you able to find a sheetmetal shop to roll the metal? What did they charge? Thanks, Michael
