Spray on WD-40 and wipe thoroughly over the surface with a paper towel or similar.
As an aside, it was an appliance repair person who put us onto this when we asked him how to polish (streak-free) brushed stainless appliances.

Will the polish take out scratches or will I have to have that professionally polished? The stainless front of our stove was scratched by a bicycle pedal while we were traveling. I know I can take it off and have someone brush it again, was wondering if the polish will work on that.

I'm afraid not.

In the appliance area at Lowes or Home Depot is a stainless steel scratch repair kit.
Most people are not aware but the grain in stainless is done by large scotch guard wheels.
This kit gives you multiple levels of scotch guard pads with a liquid polish.
I was hesitant to use this on a very visible area of a brand new stainless appliance but it worked great. Also made my stainless sink look new. The Key is to ONLY follow the grain.
Here is a link to the product:
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Rejuvenat...w&gclsrc=aw.ds
And a link to the video:
Hope that helps.

I think that's just what I'm looking for. I was going to replace the panel but this looks like it might just be what I'm looking for. I'm heading over to Lowes for something else this morning. I'll pick up some of this stuff too and take it to the storage lot with me. Thanks for the tip I'll let you know how it turns out.

Not at Lowes, don't see it on their web site either. I'll have to go to Home Depot.

I tried Glare, which is what I use on my clear coat. It did not work well.

In the photo of your Stainless rock guards it looks like you have a stainless cover wrapped around your front frame near the battery box. Is this correct and did you do that for a certain reason.
Thanks for any info

Weimar's Stainless Polish is great for the rock guards and also for internal stainless like plumbing fixtures, galley and lab sinks, vent above stove--anything stainless.
Won't actually buff out scratches though--just cleans and shines.

I was traveling in North Dakota and a truck beside us was spraying what I later found out was some kind of thick salt solution which did not effect the aluminum but the stainless rock guards have what appears to be a slight bit of rust all over it. Any suggestion on how to remove this?

Was it spraying beet juice? We use that here on our roads sometimes instead of salt.

Another fan of WD-40.
Tried Walbernize once when I first got the trailer - don't think about it! It made a terrble mess of the SS rock guards.
Piece of cake with WD-40.

If you use it anywhere else, just be careful not to spray it so heavily, that it runs down the panel and comes in contact with the adhesive holding the trim on... That could be a problem as the potential exists to dissolve/weaken the glue.
