Cool Road Debris Protection

Has anybody ever used those 'hang down' rear mounted brush things, that are mounted on the back of the Tow Vehicle to protect the trailer from road crap??
I have a Ford f-150, for a 30' FC, and I would like to know if they are worth it, and where would I get one in Ontario.

Oh oh, another gismo I don't spend my money on. Our Airstream already comes with stainless steel segment protectors and plastic stone guards over the front windows. We have had a few stones thrown up and onto our Airstream, but there were from trucks and cars we met on the roadway.

They also add weight to an area of our towing combination that we don't want any more weight added to, as well as complicate hitch stinger removal.

(Sidebar....)
Not trying to be a wise guy here - but the OP specifically asked for opinions of those who have used them. If you aren't spending money on them because you've done so in the past and learned something from that - you might want to add that bit of info to your reply, Doug.

Road Debris Protection

Or these? On edit - I see on their website they have a dealer in Thunder Bay (Kostecki Motorsports). I have never used them and have no affiliation with the company. Good luck!

Hi from AZ. . . we got Rock Tamers for our F150 pulling FC 28, and think they did help. Got mine from Amazon ! Lots of gravel/dirt roads to AK and back, safe travels, Craig

This has worked well for us...I like the fact that it covers edge to edge.

If I was going on a trip to Alaska or drive gravel roads I would check into those.
