After seeing Rock Tamers at Casini on CoastalView's rig, I ordered a set from Amazon this morning - $167 & free shipping. They look well made and easy to mount.

I took some video over in Nevada a couple of weeks ago...see if you can spot the Rock Tamers as I laid back and to get up close...
Enjoy...

I then had to turn over to get a glimpse of that 'hit-and-run' rig heading for parts untold...(Bonnie Clair Dry Lake, NV)...

I made my own. Two peices of alumium angle that fits into the ends of the receiver. Two quarter fender flaps I purchased from the local Fruehuf Dealer(semi-trailers) and the bolts I got at LOWES. THEY slide into the ends of the receiver and are held in with tarp straps. I leave them on all the time. Never take them off. In total I think I have about 10 bucks in them. They might be a little Ruab Goldburg but they work fine.

It fits around the "draw bar". You just slip the draw bar through the square hole in the rock tamer before inserting it into the receiver.
Go to this link to see all you would want to know about them. http://mrtruck.net/mudflap.htm

Rock Tamers can be used on different brands of trucks. I have them on my Ford F-250 and have used them for the past 3 years. They work. When not towing, I hang them on my garage wall on a hook I made.
On a related subject, check out the Hitch-Vise Anti-Rattle device here:
Hitch stabilizer: no wobble, anti rattle device for hitch accessories
If you've ever experienced a little looseness from your draw bar in the receiver tube, this device will remove that symptom. It's only $30 and I will tell you it works. I like to leave my Rock Tamers on all the time while camping and had a little looseness from my draw bar (which makes the Rock Tamers wobbly). You don't experience the looseness while hitched because of all the weight from the hitch.

This sure is an expensive "free" site. Every time I log on I end up spending money.
Just ordered my Enkay Rock Tamers. Free shipping right now from the Enkay home page.

I spent about $70 to put these together. Also, I have to go under the suv to undo 4 bolts that hold it up. Very easy to make.

Just a suggestion, before you are disappointed with dents. That space between your bumper and the top of the flaps will allow stones to hit the AS. I know this because......
You might want to consider an addition like my pic. I now have no issues.
And before some of you ask, :Why did you cut them so short?"....
I use several different tow vehicles.

Duraflaps have several advantages over others: They look good and they keep the rocks tamed just fine. A big plus: no heavy lifting. Here's their site: Mud Flaps For Pick Up Trucks SUVs by DuraFlap

Anyone know if a clamp on Rock Tamer will work? The web page says it needs one inch. There is one inch total including the buildup on the tube end. I might have to find one and look at it.

Those Dura Flaps are nice ones, but IMO you need the flap as far rearward as possible. Check your angle of attack...an imaginary line from the point of contact of the tire with the ground. Now run that line upward until it meets the bottom of the flap. Now extend that line to the AS front. I believe you will find several feet exposed to potential rocks from the banana wrap to about midway up to the windows.
Tire tread pattern is a huge contributor to how much flying rocks you get as well.
