OK, so we're back to my original statement in post#4? The polycarbonate, in thinner sheets can be used in the wraparound, newer rock guards, without heating and make the curve in a cold bend.

Incidentally, I don't think any drilling is required in the newer ones. I believe they just slip in the frame with an end removed and are held, floating, with window screen spline.

I replaced the cracked plexiglass on my Rockguard with ABS. The ABS sheet has a smooth side and a textured side, I installed smooth side out. Much higher impact resistant but you cannot see thru it.
Very flexible and easy to work with.
Just my take on this issue.

I need to see through it on a 3 piece. The corners do not open like the center one...unless you remove them totally....and that's not a viable option.

as far as the crack, you may be able to use some Mek and a syringe. when people build things out of acrylic, you hold 2 mating parts and then squirt the liquid in there and capilary action draws it in, then bonds it, and clear. Weldon makes most of the products. I believe I got some from Southern States.
