Broken wing window

Just finished a great 3 week trip to Galcier, Redwoods, thru Salt lake city and home, but a stone broke the outside pane of one of my front wingwindows.

I have a 1972 27' International, The wingwindow is two pane and the inside pane is fine, once I take out the broken outer pane is there a spacer or gasket I can install to fill the void, or can i just run a thick bead of vulcum?

Also how do people feel about rock guards vs rock tamers? or both. Is the one piece rockguard what I should put on my trailer? I see airstream makes the one piece I believe will fit my trailer.

The one piece rockguard will fit your 72 just fine.

How about the first question anyone?
once I remove the outer broken wing window, will the inner pane stay in place with just vulcum? or do I need a spacer or some other method. My idea is to leave the inner pane where it is and just put bead of vulcum around edge.

We do not promote altering double pane windows to single pane.

There are many variables and difference of opinions.

Gaskets are not available from Airstream that will help with that task.
