Water Leaking

Hey guys,

Just bought a very very gently used 2008 22ft safari.

I hooked up the water hose to the city water inlet and water started pouring right out underneath the airstream.

Pulled up the false bottom of the wardrobe to access where the leak was and found that right where the water comes in the valve there is spewing water.

Anyone know what this valve is? What it's called? Cost to fix?

Thx

Typically there is a pressure control valve at, or near, the fresh water inlet. It may be a part of that inlet fitting. The Airstream internals are designed for something around 40 psi. City water systems cal deliver 70 psi or more.

Where in the picture is the leak? Is the nut on the back of the valve tight? Is it or the valve body cracked? Is it leaking where the screws hold the back of the valve on?
