Need advice on new AS

I posted this in the Boondocking forum, but I thought I would ask here also. We are looking at buying a 23FB or a 25FB. We will be camping and not staying at RV parks. Should we be looking for something smaller?

?All new posts show up on one page- the "Portal". You'll find a link to it in the upper left hand corner of every page. I think most people access this site via the portal, so everyone would see your post no matter which category you choose. I responded to your OP (Original Post).

What will be important to you is fresh water, solar power, and things like that. You may want to think about a generator and how you can carry it safely.

Red, it depends what's important to you. We picked the 25 FB because it was the smallest unit with a queen bed. I think the 23 has smaller water tanks and that's very important for boondocking.

The smaller it is, the easier to find a place to park it. The difference between the two you're looking at is so small that I think it would not make a real difference in finding a place to park.

There's a brewery in Palisade, Colo. that makes an ale called "Red Truck". It's good too.

Welcome to the best A/S Forum in the Universe.

We be partial to the 25's. Just the right size for the three of us. (two peeps and one critter) Have never had a problem with site size when Dock'n.
And as you can see, even with this size crew 10 days in the Adirondacks was doable.

Good luck in your search, keep us posted.
