My New 2008 Safari Sport 17' Airstream

Took delivery of my new 2008 Safari Sport 17' Airstream a week ago and have to say I'm impressed. Sure, it only sleeps 2 people, but I tell you what, its in total comfort. The bathroom is huge and the kitchen has everything one needs and more. Got it fully loaded from Southwest Coach and Trailer at Traveland RV in Irvine , CA. My 2006 Jeep Commander V6 has no trouble towing it either.

Hi flight RN,
I too would be interested in seeing photos. I have been waiting for our local dealer to stock one - they're coming.
Congrats on your purchase.

Welcome, I'm sure you probably looked at countless TT's and were blown away by the features of the Safari Sports as we were.

Anxious to hear how you like it after using for some time. We've been in a couple of them but wanted something a little larger. Just for my wife and myself but since we plan to travel extensively (with retirement just around the corner) we thought a little more room would be great. Ended up, at the very last minute, with a 25' International Ocean Breeze but anxious to hear how you like your Safari Sport after using it for some time. We thought it might get a little tiresome having to make up your sleeping quarters every morning and then preparing it again every evening. But, without a bedroom, it certainly is a great use of space. Hope it satisfies your traveling plans and enjoy the 'streamin world!!! Perhaps we'll run into you down the road some day........

Obviously my Username has raised some interest here. I'm a male Flight Nurse and Paramedic on an Emergency Medical Helicopter Service in Southern California (Mercy Air). I have several pictures on my home page at MySpace.com - RickyRescue - 36 - Male - Long Beach/Signal Hill, California - www.myspace.com/rickyrescuern Go and take a look. I'll upload a few more of the new safari sport on here sometime in the coming week.
Wishing you all a great weekend!

Andrew, congratulations on your new Safari SS. They have a really nice floor plan and are nicely appointed. We looked at a couple, but it didn't meet our particular needs.
