Those hub caps will fit the current Airstream type steel wheel.

I like choice #1 - the hubcaps will fit ANY steel wheel of 2600# rating from any dealer that sells trailer rated tires and rims..

Hey Kneal-

You better go back into photoshop and give your AS a little lift before Andy looses it! And I like #4.

The key is how much of the tire can you see "ABOVE" the top of the wheel.

About 1 1/2 to 2 inches of tire should show.

That's not the case in those photo's.

Take a look at other Airstreams. You will quickly see what I see.

Andy
I knew that, I was just testing you.

#1 looks good to me but then I'm biased. I have polished American style 5 spokes on mine to match the '57. They really suit the trailers well.

#1 and especially #4 remind me of sink drains... or maybe minnow buckets for some reason

I vote for #2 or #3. Maybe my vote is leaning more towards #3

Good luck!

I had number one on my last three CCDs. They look sharp without being too over the top. My new 34' clasic has different wheels that make me miss the old ones!

Yep...

I agree with Andy, the axles look iffy. If money is a problem do the axles and if you can afford new wheels, I like #1, and the vintage hubcaps.

I agree with prior posters, if you WANT aluminum wheels sell the hubcaps on e-bay. BTW aluminum rims will lose a bit more air than steel.

Whatever floats you boat or shines your Airstream.

Paula
