Where do I start? '57 El Rey needs help! Me too!

Wow...I just bought an old '57 El Rey and really don't even know where to start!

I'm planning to replace the rims and tires so I can move it first and even have concerns about that! The originals are still on, and the previous owner told me to be sure to purchase BIAS tires 700-50x15",rather than RADIAL...and 6 lug trailer rims called5", 6 bolt pattern.

Already one place I called said they don't do bias tires on that rim.

I'm in the east Dallas area.

Any suggestions?
