wheel pictures please!

hello out there, i've decided to get new wheels when i do my axles in a week or so. I have a 73 Sovereign with original hubcaps, but am thinking of doing the steel modulars with chrome centers and trim rings. I can't find a picture of this setup anywhere. I know i've seen it on Airstreams, i think it may have been a factory choice in the 80's sometime. Can anyone who has pics of their original AS wheels please post them or tell me where to look?

If you have aftermarket aluminums, that's NOT what i'm after, but feel free to show off your wheels if you want.

Is there already a post for this? I looked but couldn't find more than one or two pics of different wheels.

thanks

How about this? This is our '77 and our newly aquired '91 has the same wheels.

My first upgrade to Sterling were four Alcoa wheels.

My parents had a '71 at one time. I have a web page of photos that my father took. I see a few shots of their '71 in there, nothing directly of the wheels, but you can see some detail. It appears he had black wheels with moon hubcaps. Good luck.

Roger, thanks for the pics of the wheels, but i must tell you i absolutely love these pics! I'm a Tn. boy but just got back from 2 weeks with my family in the Southwest, and even though i didn't take my AS on that trip, it is really neat to see these pictures of the same Nat'l parks that i just took pictures of, some in the same places! With the addition of a cool vintage AS added, of course. Thanks!

Hi,
I don't know if you can see but my avatar pic has the wheels from our 75 Safari. The original is on a pc that is no longer working otherwise I would send you a bigger picture.
I don't know if it is original to the trailer. I bought it a couple of years ago with those wheels.
