Whats the offset for the Wheels on '76? Will these work?

Found these and looks to be good price. 2830 lb rating, but I believe the axles are around 3200lb. Problem?

Aluminum Trailer Wheel Style: SERIES #04 Size: 15 x 6 Bolt Pattern: 6 x 5.5 Bore Size: 4.25 Load Rating: 2830 lbs @ 80 PSI Offset: 0mm Hispec

Any comments or advice appreciated!
Thanks,
Micky

All trailer wheels to my knowledge should be "0" offset. Especially the newer Neverlube hubs, they MUST be "0" offset.

Hmmm.. just thinking after that post.... If my axles are 3200 lb, then thats only 1600 lbs per wheel... so 2830 should be plenty?

Any Takers on my logic?

I've seen those wheels at that website. I like them very much. The 0 offset is correct.

If it were me, though, I would go ahead and make the move to 16" if I were going to pony up for a set of new aluminum wheels. Unfortunately, I haven't seen that wheel in 16" with 0 offset. The same wheel in 16" has a +5mm offset.

I do like the Phenom wheels at their website too. They have 0 offset. I also like the Sendel T03 that Airstream is putting on the EBs.

It does seem like there are an awful lot of really ugly wheels being made out there.

Let us know what you decide!

Andy from Inland RV has posted on wheel specs many times.

At 2830 per wheel, you are golden.

Oooh that Sendel T03 is pretty sweet But now you're upselling me! I JUST upsold myself on the "cheap" 15" wheels because I found them for $85 bucks.... where steel wheel replacements are $49. I was thinking that I'll list my hubcaps on ebay and the difference is negligible. But now you've really messed me up

Anyone know of any wheel & tire combo deals to be had? I was just going to do these 15's, then I'll have another $400 in rubber.... Man- things sure are beginning to add up!

If you go with 16's you would want your spare to be the same size so you would need 5 . at least that is how I would do it . Les Grace wbcci #14183

Micky I purchased those same wheels for on our "78" Ambassador. They should work fine and will look great on your trailer. I had Marathons mounted and balanced as well. Great people to deal with.

As I recall they did mount the tires and balance at no charge. Not sure about package deal but I looked long and hard and didn't find anything less expensive. It's worth asking.
