We need a spare. What wheel spec?

When I bought our 04 25' International I was aware that it was missing a spare tire. Been pushing the luck these past few months.
Anyhow, does anyone know what the bolt pattern spec would be so I can go into a chain tire store and get a rim?

Smile Hi,

Best way is take the trailer and have them mach it. The other way is take one wheel off and have them mach it. That is what I did.
Regards from Russell in sunny and warm Tucson Az.

Yeah I think you are right on that one Russel. Thanks. The best thing to do is take one down to Big O or Les Schwab. More work for me. Or, maybe less if I got a wrong fit
We have only made it down to Sedona so far. Seeing that you are in good ol Tucson is a reminder that we need to mosey in that southerly direction.

6X15X5.5 at a 2600lbs load rating will do. I got mine at a local horse trailer/contractor trailer supply place. Cost about $35 and were new, out of the box. I repainted them because the factory paint was thin.

6 = number of lugnuts
15 = 15 inch rim
5.5 = bolt pattern center to center

Please, correct me if I am wrong but I believe that is the breakdown of the numbers. The 2600lb rated rims were a stopper for many parts houses - but once I went to a dealer who knew what I wanted it was simple.

Additionally - I think you want a 0 (ZERO) offset rim but mine were a -.5 inch offset and were no problem.

That is the correct data for the wheel.

If at all possible match the spare tire to the others. You will get a better fit. Same size different manufacture can be tires that are different outter circumference. And with short term "spare" use that may not matter much either. It's just if you want to rotate the spare in with the rest of the tires then you may be taking the chance in matching.

Don't forget to specify the width of the rim in addition to the rest and match the existing tire size for the spare. Any easy way to get it all right the first time is to buy it from your A/S dealer.
