upgrading 14" wheels

I have a 2006 23' safari. I am going to upgrade my standard 14" wheels.

I was going to buy the 15" and go with the Michelin m/s 2 235/75. That would give a rating of 2183x4=8732. Seems plenty adequate.

Any reason to go to 16" wheels? Would they fit into the wheel well?

Thanks

Don't know about the fit, and I suggest you could measure the clearance front, back, sides and in between to see if the larger wheels/tires will fit.

About the 16", it is my opinion that would be overkill for a 23', and the 15" Michelin's would do the job nicely.

I did what you are planning on my 23' international: 15' rims and Michelins. You can see my photos in the tire section.

Result?

More clearance, a better tire, less worry at 65 mph.

Cheers!

The problem is finding 5-bolt 16" trailer wheels. I couldn't, so I upgraded to 15" on my 23.
