steel wheel baby moon clips

i cant tell if these steel wheels (non spit rims) are original or not to a 59 18 footer. they have slots for clips for baby moons but no clips. i have an original airstream baby moon (from another A.S.) and it looks like it wants to fit with clips. can i get clips? sound familiar? the size is 8-14.5 if that helps.

the end result i want is steel wheels with baby moons. if i cant find the clips i would like to purchase new steel wheels with clips or nubs. anyone have a link? thanks!

I don't know what 8-14.5 means but if these are the same 15" 6 hole 5 1/2 lug ring rims as early 70s they were also used by Chevy and Jeep.

I have a pair of 14.5" wheels with clips, but the clips are riveted, not slot. I don't know if they would fit on your wheels. The original hubcaps on mine were not baby moons, but had a star design.

Get on touch with Stockton Wheel. The company is over 100 years in business and they really know their stuff. I have had good service there. I would be very surprised if they can't help you.

They might be more like the old Lincoln logo. Go to the member's photo gallery under my name to see the hubcaps and wheels.

I have migrated away from the 14.5" rims and now have 15" wheels with Goodyear Marathon tires. If you stick with the 14.5" wheels I recommend Kumho tires.

mark,
i like those hubcaps! and the steel wheels look like the ones i used on my globetrotter (with the clips). i may order new this time as soon as i can figure out what size (rim) will get me the best load range, in whitewalls tires, and a combination that still fits in the wheel well.
