Spare Tire Mount feedback 72 27"

Hey Guys:

Newbie here.

I've got my frame almost ready to take to the welder. My A/S is a tandem.

- Do tandem's typically carry a spare?
- Now is the time to address the issue. I can have my welder-dude weld in that spare carrier / swing arm thing that tucks under the frame up front.

Need your thoughts and suggestions.

EDIT: no my A/s is not just over 2 feet long! lol... should be 27' !

As always, thanks.

I think that the spare and carrier was an option. Our first AS had none but I carried one in the truck. Our newer AS has a carrier mounted behind the "A"-frame. I feel more comfortable having a spare.

I ground off the welds that held my propane tank brackets and moved it forward about two inches - just shy of the jack. This left more than enough room to mount my spare behind my tanks and enough room to not interfere with my front window. Easy to get to and secure. Looks nice.
