SenDel T03 Wheels
When my current tires age out, I'm planning to make the jump to 16" wheels. On the Sendel wheels, I've seen online that they have a model with black inlay, and one that is listed as "silver", in addition to the aluminum one everyone is seeming to get. Has anyone installed either of these on their rig? I like the look of these other models, but am having a hard time imagining them on an Airstream. I'd love to see a picture.

New Lucy has a set of the 16" SenDel T03 Wheels that I installed in November, 2014. I got the ones without the black inlay. I was a little afraid that the black might chip off after extensive use. I like the silver just as well.
Here are some pictures of Lucy's new wheels.

I too was curious if the black/silver models could require maintenance down the road. Are yours the silver (SM) vs. aluminum. If so, can you tell if the "silver" is painted on? Or a clear coat?

Mine are the silver, and I can't really tell whether it's paint or clear coat. I figure that if it is paint and it gets chipped, it won't be real noticeable as it's solver color underneath.

I think you'll find most if not all aluminum wheels clearcoated. It holds up very well but many years down the road might need to be re-done. Not a bad job. I have the Sendel wheels with the black accents. They have held up well after being on the road for 3 years and probably 30,000 miles. I think both styles look very good I simply chose the accented ones. I don't think you'd be disappointed with either one.

I put the 16" SenDel T03-66655T wheels with Michelin LT225/75R16/E LTX M/S2 tires on the 2014 31' Classic. You can see the Centramatic "300-356 all A plates" wheel balancers as well. The tires are on my portable scales.
The photo with the spray can is the 2015 23D International Serenity with 15" SenDel T03-56545T wheels with Michelin LTX (P) 235/75R15 XL tires attached to the original 14" drum brake hubs and also with Centramatic "200-221 standard" wheel balancers.

I have the black inlay wheels, and BIL has the stock silver. Looking at them side-by-side I prefer the black inlay. My wheels/hubs are precision balanced so I don't have the Centrimatics. I probably would prefer the silver if I had the Centrimatics in the background.
Sorry no pictures, I put it away for the winter.

We bought the Sendel T02 model 16" wheels, much like the Flying Cloud originals which we like, perhaps more like the wheels on our truck.

I got T02s as well, but we seem to be in the minority.

I got the O3with the black inlay, that was until I went through some construction on I 55. Than I had solid black wheels on the curb side. A can of WD40 and they are back to the original. They look great on my FC.

Thanks for all those who have already posted. I'm now leaning towards those with the black accents. If anyone has a photo, particularly from not too far away, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks--

I liked the look of the wheels that came on our '14 FC 27FB so I went with the T-02's. I prefer subtle changes.

I have had both, all Aluminum and now with Black Inlay, Sendel calls shadow. Like them both, like the shadow as the wheels are very close to the wheels on our F350 Platinum Edition. You will like either, I think.
No pictures, trailer is in storage until December 28, then headed south.
