Original Steel Wheels? '63 GT

After dragging a '63 Globe Trotter out of the woods near Truman Lake MO. and getting home, 500 miles on a nearly frozen axle, I removed the wheels, axle and a few other things - of course!
I took the wheels up to get them broke down and here was my surprise...

The spare tire was a 7.00-15LT LR-C tube type bias ply mounted on a steel rim stamped 15x6L inside. This rim has the clips for a hub cap, 6-lug holes and a center hub hole of about 3 5/8".

The left tire was a 7.00-15LT LR-D tubeless bias ply mounted on the same kind of rim as the spare above.

The right tire was a 7.00-15LT LR-D tubeless bias ply mounted on a different size rim *WHAT THE HECK*
The rim is not stamped inside, it is the same 6-lugs, same 3 5/8" hub hole, BUT it is a 5" wide steel rim and about 1/2" less in diameter.

Are these 3 rims original? Was the smaller rim suppose to be the spare? with a different size tire? How the heck would a 7.00-15LT even stay on the smaller rim for 500 miles? Is there any reason I could not put new radials on these rims? The 2 rims that are stamped inside 15x6L - what does the 'L' designate?

Any help is appreciated...

the left two rims in your picture look like mine, the odd one out looks like an attempt to find a spare in an emergency. If you're looking for original rims with the clips I know where a few are here and could probably work something to get one to you.

wheels

My guess would be that none of the rims are original.

Every trailer I have had up thru 64 has come with split rim wheels.
These of course should be replaced for safety reasons
The usual tire size back then was 700-15
