Thumbs up New Rims

I looked at my rims this past week while repacing the bearings. 2 are in need of replacing. I have a '75 Duel axle Trade Wind. What size, bolt circle and load rating do I need to look for????

The correct wheel is 15 inch with a 6 on a 5 1/2 inch bolt circle, with a 7 inch width.

They also must be a minimum of 2600 pound rating.

We have them if you cannot find them locally.

Thanks, I found them on your site! I'll keep it on the list if I can not locate here.

If you want to spiff it up.

http://www.trailer-parts-forless.com...l_assembly.htm

22575R15ARA is the correct part number for the ones that will fit with 6 lugs and a 2500lb weight rating. These ARE trailer wheels. Comes with GoodYear marathons and appears to be the same wheel Airstream now uses on new coaches. I have a set in my garage ready to go on my 59. Don't order the lug nuts from them. They don't carry the correct ones.

I happen to be reasonably local to that company. Check you local trailer supply places. Thats a pretty common wheel. Save the shipping buying local.

Those sure are purdee! All my tires are like new. I did find a site that has rims @ a pretty good price.

Looks like Part # WH156-60E is the one I am looking for. I am looking for local, but so far no luck.

I'm simply curious, what's wrong with your steel wheels?

Mine even had tubes in them, and looked awful until I sand blasted them. The rust wasn't too bad after all and the bead areas were perfect. POR-15 and a top coat later and they look like new. Now they've been holding air great since I put new GY Marathons on them.

Thanks,

Steve

I'll grab a pick next time I go over to work on them. There is a section on 2 rims that are corroded near the bead. I'm not sure how or why but one of them looks like If I was to hit a good sized pot hole there is a potential to pop the bead.

Here is a pic of the corroded rim.
After thinking about it. I'll be ordering 4 when I decide which to buy.

If you decide to get wheels other than from Andy, be sure you get 2600# rated wheels, they should be zero offset, also. It would be a good idea to check that before ordering any wheels.

That looks like classic "flat tire sat in the mud for 2 years rim rust". BTW: I ordered my tires from lowcosttrailersupply and I thought that the shipping was resonable. But Then again they are fairly local to me being in Ohio also.

Placed the order this AM, good to know that you had good luck. Came to $244 for 4 with shipping. Figured that all 4 would be worth the investment. I don't have much background on the AS only that is sat idle for 17 years. The curb side rims look to be scrap. The other 2 are in better shape. I'll use one for a spare.
