Suggestions on the "Lug" nut size socket for Safari 23?

Hi All,

I have searched "tires and wheels" and do not see the size of the "lug nut" listed for my Safari 23 wheels.

I need to purchase a "lug nut socket" and "torch wrench" to tighten my "lug nuts".

Wondering what the size of the lug nut and "depth" of the socket needed to be? Any brand suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Irish.

I am not certain, I have Vintage rigs, I'm sure someone will jump in. But it should be 7/8" 6 point, shallow will fit, I like the Deep.

A Sears torque wrench for about $80 should do the trick.

IIRC, they are 13/16". You can get what is called a "flip socket" from Sears at the same time you get the torque wrench. They have 3/4" on one end, and 13/16" on the other, you can then use it for your tow vehicle as well, if you are lucky enough to have one of those sizes.

my 97 uses 13/16. But the socket needs to be thin-wall due to the chrome hub center.
