Lug Bolts

I need to get some more Lug Bolts for my AS. Are these bolts a normal bolt found at a hardware store or are they a special bolt made for AS?

Then the next question will be what size and where to get them if not available at the Hardware store.
Should I go ahead and replace all 24? Do they stress fail after years of use?

Thanks

Probably not a hardware store item but an auto parts store item.

We stock lugs bolts that Airstream specifies, for steel wheels

Please be advised that lug bolts for Mag wheels are usually very different.

The Wheels are the Mag wheels, not steel. I will take one off this week and check at the auto parts store. I want to replace all of them.
Thanks for the advice

If you can't find what you need, I believe we still have some of the old Mag wheel lug bolts that Airstream used years ago.

Jeff,

Another place to look is a well equipped speed shop or store which specializes in selling wheels.

Mine were tightened too tight by a dealer (that shall remain nameless) and I went to Dillons in Apache Juction, Dillons, and it cost me approximately $500 for new bolts and knuts......

I have no idea why someone would over torque....... Be careful where you go for service.
